Well, I going for an Appletini as that’s one of my go-to drinks, but this was the closest I could find in The Bartender’s Black Book. Again, like with the Key Lime Pie Martini, I was looking for more of a green color. Maybe add some food coloring?!
Overall it was okay. I did opt in for the Dry Vermouth otherwise it’d have been straight Apple Vodka. I prefer the appletinis I’ve had though. Maybe it would taste better if I took the time to garnish it and/or served it unstrained in a short glass.
Ooo, and while copying down this recipe, I just saw a recipe for a drink called April in Paris. Gonna have to add that to my list to try!
