- 2 slices challah bread
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 oz thinly sliced roast beef
- 1 oz Gouda, sliced
- 1/4 apple, sliced
- 1/2 c watercress
Served with Spiced Tortilla Crisps with Hummus, this sandwich, from Real Simple, has a great combo of flavors. And the apples lend a unique, crisp freshness!
I’ve never had or would ever have thought of a concoction like this and was presently surprised.
The only thing is challah bread isn’t readily found in my neck of the woods. A special thank you goes out to Suburban Sweetheart who assisted me in my hunt for this bread. Although shortly after I made this, Robyn at Add a Pinch posted this so now I can try my hand at making my very own!
